Day 48: Calling Down Fire
You Have Unlimited Spiritual Power
God wants you to become so much more than you already are!
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, God gave the disciples an outpouring of the Holy Spirit unlike any before. It was a fulfillment of the prophecy by John the Baptist. That the Messiah would come and baptize God’s people with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11)
Almighty God released a mighty flood of spiritual power and fire. It caused the whole world to be turned upside down. Each of the disciples were endued with such power. They became witnesses for the Lord in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and into the utter most parts of the earth. It was an extraordinary moment in church history, but one that God is ready to reproduce in your life now! (Acts 1:4-8)
As a believer you have the same power the disciples received 2,000 years ago. The Holy Spirit is just waiting on you to step out in faith and go to work.
• You have the power to preach the good news of the Gospel.
• The power to pray and release salvation.
• The power to lay hands on the sick and see people recover.
• The power to create a future that’s free of your past.
• The power to overcome any obstacle that’s been blocking your blessing.
The root word for the word fire in this scripture is related to a word used for lightning. I believe spiritual lightning is about strike in your life this week. You’re going to see the power of God released. There will be a strong change in your prayer life, your ability to preach the Gospel, your financial and business affairs and in your health and healing.
It’s time for Pentecost!
Time for signs, wonders and miracles!
Today’s Prayer: Father God, thank You for the promise of the Holy Spirit and power in my life. I receive a fresh outpouring of Your divine energy and supernatural strength. I can fulfill all You have called me to do. I give You praise for the fire of God and the sudden breakthroughs being released right now in my prayer life, my health, my finances and my future. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
